China, with its 1.5 billion people, is a unique Country as you know. My government is very sensitive to any materials coming from foreign cultures that may influence ideology.
We hold a very firm grasp on this because it can touch upon problems of national stability. But the people of China as well as our President love and respect you and know you would never bring anything to our land that would bring problems. And because of the respect my government has for you we welcome your Jerry Bells University Of Music And Performing Arts.

The decision of the highest officials of cultural and propaganda policy making office, including Shanghai municipalities, we think this would be a wonderful thing for our people. Your university in China would bring about trade with American R&B, Soul, Jazz, Pop, and Classical music and Chinese traditional music and it’s history. The music university entering China is also a very good thing, to America it will bring profound advantages.
For the music university it will create enormous gains. Presently we have already through the above mentioned special channels reported our plans to the highest policy making government office and have began the filing process and the application process for land usage. Furthermore we have sent you the architectural design images that we talked about when you were here.
